WASB recognizes board members for their efforts in leadership and board development through their Member Recognition Program. Points are awarded to board members for their attendance at or involvement in WASB events and programs.
They raised $415 for the Humane Society of Marathon County during a recent Penny War! In addition, they also made dog treats, cat toys, and animal bandanas for HSMC as well!

The meeting will be held in the Nicholson Boardroom of the Longfellow Administration Center located at 415 Seymour Street in Wausau.
The task force will meet again on November 13, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. in the Library of Wausau East High School. Note: if you are interested in observing any of these meetings, you are more than welcome to do so.
Best wishes to Grace Loos, senior at Wausau East High School, as she competes for the 2025 Miss Wausau Area Teen title! Her talent will be performing archery.
The Elementary Facility Plan Citizen Task Force met for the sixth time on October 9, 2024. As another reminder, this is part of the Wausau School District/Board's process to create a long-range elementary school facilities plan. That plan will focus, in particular, on whether the number of elementary schools in the Wausau School District should be reduced and if so, then how, where, and when.
He received the Making the Difference Award for everything he's done in the transportation industry, which includes Automotive, Diesel, and Auto Body & Collision!
