Our school, which serves students in kindergarten through grade 5, is more than just a building -- it's a family! Pending verification, Lance Trollop, Cory Sillars, and Charles Burger will retain their seats. New member Yauo Y. Yang will join the board, filling the seat vacated by Jennifer Paoli, who did not seek re-election.

The 11th Annual Lumberjack Hall of Fame was held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 and East High celebrated an outstanding group of honorees.

Mr. Hughes, who has served the Wausau School District for many years, is recognized not only for his fierce advocacy in the classroom—operating under the philosophy, "We never quit on kids"—but also for his extensive servant leadership in the community.
