Parents and teachers working together to support and enrich the lives of Franklin students.

PTO stands for Parent-Teacher Organization. The PTO consists of parents and teachers working together to support and enrich all students at Franklin Elementary School. We support school staff, help promote student self-esteem, and assist efforts to solve school needs through volunteering and fundraising.  All parents of Franklin Elementary students are encouraged to participate in PTO activities whenever possible, even if you are not able to attend our monthly meetings.

PTO activities happen every day at Franklin with the parents who volunteer in and out of school. Volunteering in the library, preparing a special treat for staff, counting Box Tops, chairing a PTO committee, or assisting at a PTO event are all examples of PTO activities and involvement.

PTO has several scheduled family and fundraising events that are planned and facilitated by committee assignments and through our monthly meetings.   Signing up to help does not commit you to come to a PTO monthly meeting, although we would love to have you there!  It’s a great chance to have your opinion heard on various upcoming events.

The heart of the PTO is the everyday working relationships between parents and staff. The effort parents, teachers, staff, and volunteers put forth on a daily basis at Franklin Elementary is extraordinary. On behalf of the PTO, we would like to say thank you to each parent, teacher, staff member and volunteer who works so hard all year long to make our school a safe and educationally enriched environment for children.

Mark your calendars!!
