Before/After School OLD

Dear Franklin Elementary School Families:

 

The Boys & Girls Club, in partnership with the Wausau School District, will be opening a site at Franklin Elementary School on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 with before school programming at 6:45 am and after school beginning at 3:30 pm. The Club will provide before and after school program opportunities to Franklin Elementary students kindergarten through 5th grade.

 Before school hours will be available daily from 6:45 am – 8:10 am. Breakfast will begin at 8:00 a.m. and playground supervision will be provided by Franklin School staff at 8:10 am. Afterschool programs will be available from 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm at Franklin. After school snack, academic enrichment, tutoring, art, health and fitness, service projects, dinner and more will be provided daily throughout the school year.

 Enrollment in the Boys & Girls Club Franklin Elementary School site is available for up to 120 students, on site at Franklin. Students enrolling at the site must:


Complete and return the enclosed membership application

Complete and return the enrollment form indicating which days students will attend

o   Changes to attendance must be communicated with Boys & Girls Club Franklin Site staff to ensure the safety of students

o   Priority will be given to students who will plan to attend the Club three or more days per week

Participation in the program is free to all Franklin students, but students must complete the enclosed membership application and enrollment and return them to the Boys & Girls Club. A confirmation letter will be mailed home when completed membership and enrollment forms are submitted, as space permits.

A monthly schedule of activities will be available at the start of the school year. Club staff will also be available at Franklin’s Open House on August 27th to answer any questions.
